As a person currently going through the conversion to Judaism, I personally find the "work" that one must put into the conversion process to be fascinating, thrilling, and beautiful. Definitely not in any way a detractor from the religion. There is reason and logic behind every choice and rule that is placed upon us. As for having to learn Hebrew, since many services are done in Hebrew, this is easier than you would think.
